About StatPsyched
StatPsyched exists to demystify research and statistics for every student who feels lost in the world of data.
Our mission is simple: to make advanced research methodology & statistics accessible, understandable, and even (dare we say) fun. Whether you need a full research internship to build your CV, a data analysis course to conquer your fear, or just some thesis help to get unstuck, we've got your back.

Sonakshi (Sasha) Bansal is a PhD candidate in Psychology and the founder of StatPsyched. After witnessing the universal struggle students face with statistics and research methods, she created a solution. As an experienced instructor who has taught Research Methodology and Statistics at the university level, and a published researcher in top-tier academic encyclopedias like Springer Nature, Sasha knows what it takes to succeed.
She has channeled this expertise into StatPsyched, transforming it from a data analysis venture into a global hub where students gain not just knowledge, but proven results—including co-authored publications. Her mission is to replace statistical anxiety with unwavering confidence, providing the practical skills and mentorship that university curricula often miss.
Sasha holds an MSc in Psychological Sciences from State University of New York, and is currently pursuing her PhD from Ashoka University, India. Her research interest lies in studying non-suicidal self-injury. She has published over 10 peer reviewed articles, and has presented her work in international conferences like The NorthEastern Evolutionary Psychology Society conference.

Sasha was friendly and supportive, made me feel encouraged to begin the process of research, and made concepts that I had previously found daunting much easier to understand. It was a lovely experience overall, and the insights that I gained from the session would help me in starting my research.
