Current Edition: Mythology in Psychology
Psychology has always drawn from stories. Long before theories were formalized, myths and narratives attempted to explain human behavior, conflict, morality, and the mind.
The current edition of the StatPsyched Blog invites you to explore this intersection through “Mythology in Psychology.”
This edition focuses on how mythological narratives, symbols, and characters can be understood through psychological concepts, and how they continue to shape the way we think about identity, relationships, and human experience.
We invite you to reflect on this connection.
How can mythological stories be interpreted through psychological frameworks?
What do these narratives reveal about human behavior, emotion, or conflict?
Can mythology offer insight into modern psychological understanding?
We are looking for thoughtful, well-articulated pieces that bridge mythology and psychology with clarity and depth.
A total of 3 entries will be selected and published on the StatPsyched website as part of this edition. Complete submission guidelines are available in the form below.
